Free Community Thanksgiving Meal Donations

Donations for the annual, free community Thanksgiving meal would be greatly appreciated!

We could use:
  • Turkeys
  • ​Poultry Broth
  • Instant mashed potatoes
  • Canned green beans *
  • Canned sweet potatoes *
  • Celery
  • Stove Top stuffing (any flavor)
  • Canned cranberry sauce *
  • Prebaked Reheatable Dinner Rolls
  • Pumpkin pies
* The big cans are great!

Homeless not Hopeless
WL-S packages and delivers 50,000 meals
Students from the Urbana, Triad, Graham and West Liberty-Salem FFA chapters gathered at WL-S to package and deliver nearly 50,000 meals to local community centers, including The Caring Kitchen.

Homelessness Event Caring Kitchen
The Caring Kitchen hosted its annual Homelessness Event on Oct. 5th. Happy to have our UU students there to assist with any needs - as well as to meet Ted Williams, the man with the Golden Voice.
