Backpack ProgramCaring Kitchen partners with Urbana Schools to provide kid-friendly snacks and food items for those unfortunate children who have no food to eat over the weekend. Since the program's inception, the number of children each year has fluctuated between 190 and 260. If you would like to help with this program, please donate kid-friendly foods, such as:

Family NightWe encourage you to spend some quality time with your family while making dinner for our residents and community at Caring Kitchen. Please call ahead to make arrangements.
Organization NightWe encourage any organization or business that needs to do a community service project to spend an evening making dinner or a morning making breakfast for our residents and community at Caring Kitchen. Please call ahead to make arrangements.
Thanksgiving CelebrationOn Thanksgiving Day, Caring Kitchen, in partnership with the Federation of Churches in St. Paris, serves Thanksgiving lunch to any Champaign County resident. Delivery is available. Please call ahead if you are interested in volunteering. We will need drivers, servers, cooks and clean-up crews.
